▋Seasonal Event｜2026 Wufeng Firefly River Season

Step into the Atayal firefly sanctuary, where fireflies dance across the mountain valleys. On this pristine land, discover the cultural legends passed down through generations of the Atayal people, and immerse yourself in a romantic summer night among the fireflies — capturing your own perfect moment.

【Event Details】
・"Nighttime Firefly Viewing" takes place at the Atayal Century Firefly Sanctuary — a private Atayal tribal ground not open to the general public. 
・Activity: Guided tour of the Atayal Firefly Sanctuary (approximately 1 hour including transit) 
・Online registration fees: 
   ・TWD 550 / Adult 
   ・TWD 350 / Child (90–130 cm) 
   ・TWD 100 / Pet companion fee (per pet) 
・Children under 90 cm are welcome at no extra charge. Please note that child car seat are not available on-site. For your child's safety, parents are required to drive separately and sign a Child Participation Risk Waiver before departure.
・Activity schedule: This activity runs in timed sessions. Your session will be assigned at check-in and may be adjusted based on the day's conditions. We appreciate your understanding and flexibility. 
   ・Session 1｜19:00 – 20:00 (please gather 10 minutes early) 
   ・Session 2｜19:30 – 20:30 (please gather 10 minutes early) 
   ・Session 3｜20:20 – 21:20 (please gather 10 minutes early) 
・In the event of heavy rain or poor firefly activity, the tour may be cancelled. This activity also requires a minimum number of participants — if the minimum is not met, the tour will not proceed. In either case, guests will be notified on-site. Guests who have purchased the firefly add-on will be refunded for the activity fee. Accommodation charges remain as booked.
・Pets are welcome to participate in this activity. For safety in the mountain terrain, pets must be kept on a leash at all times. Guests bringing pets are required to sign a Pet Risk Waiver and will be charged an additional pet fee of NT$100 per pet. 
・Activity timing is subject to daily weather conditions and will be arranged by the organizer. We appreciate your understanding. 
・Due to the terrain, please wear shoes with non-slip soles. 
・Long sleeves and long pants are recommended to protect against insects. 
・The activity will be led by a tribal guide — please stay with the group at all times.

Before sitting down to enjoy the tribal lunch, an Atayal guide will lead you through traditional costumes, facial tattoo culture, and hands-on DIY crafts. Through detailed storytelling, you'll gain a deeper understanding of Atayal history and culture — with a surprise special activity along the way. The experience concludes with a tribal flavor lunch, letting your taste buds complete the cultural journey.
